On behalf of the Tanglewood Homeowner's Association Board of Directors, we would like to welcome you to our community.
Tanglewood Estates Homes Association is a beautiful Shawnee subdivision that was founded in 1973. Our community is close to schools, shopping, parks, healthcare, dining, places of worship, and major routes.
Residents take pride in their homes and landscape. Our covenants and governing documents help preserve the community's appearance, and property values have increased through shared effort.

The homeowner association officials are dedicated to addressing issues that affect our neighborhood. The board of directors meet the third Tuesday of each month at 7:30 p.m. in the clubhouse. Our annual meeting will be on the 4th Tuesday of April.

Rooted Landscaping in in charge of maintaining the Tanglewood landscaping, and also takes care of snow removal if the snow is over 2in. Snow removal generally starts once the snow has come to an end, they also take care of icy streets when there has been an ice storm. The main street of 66th and Halsey is maintained by the City of Shawnee.

To allow trash trucks, emergency services, and snow removal trucks to drive freely in Tanglewood, you must park your car in your driveway, not around the cul-de-sac island. Any car blocking the road could be towed at the owners expenses, especially during snow removal time.

Speed Limit in Tanglewood is limited to 25MPH on the main street and 15MPH on side roads. Please watch out while driving in Tanglewood for kids playing, slow down and be considerate to other people walking, exercising, and other drivers in Tanglewood.

All dogs must be on a leash during walking. Please do not allow your dog to walk on other residents property, and always pickup after your dog. Residents can be fined $75 if you don't pickup after your pets. If you encounter loose dogs, you should contact our local Animal Control or Animal Services department.

Trash & Recycling pick up is on Mondays unless it's a holiday, it will be on Tuesday. Trash houses are assigned to townhomes only and will be picked up on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. Single home owners are not to use the trash houses. City ordinance allows trash containers to be out no more than 24hrs prior to pick up. After pick up, containers must be removed from street within 12hrs and stored out of sight.

Tanglewood Pool opens the Saturday before Memorial day, and closes on the day after Labor day. Please follow all rules and regulations of the swimming pool. Pool passes are required and can be purchased at the club house.

Our Tanglewood residents and young teens enjoy the sports activity of our tennis court and basketball area to stay close to home. Please keep the area clean at all times.

Tanglewood has an auto deduction option for monthly payment. To sign up, please download the form listed at the bottom of the page or pick the form up from the office. Fill the form out and attach a voided check and return it to the office. Auto deduct is on the 5th of each month.
If you own a property in Tanglewood, you are a member. In order to be a member in good standing, you must ensure your monthly dues are paid to the association on time. The association board administers enforce and defend covenants, restrictions, and agreements to preserve the architectural and general appearance of properties and common area amenities within Tanglewood.
